An Giang Provincial Police Department strengthens cooperation with Kandal Provincial Police Department, Cambodia

At the meeting, leaders of the two provincial police departments exchanged updates on the security and order situation in each country, particularly in areas along the shared borderline between the two provinces, during the first six months of 2025.

Both sides highly appreciated their timely and close coordination in combating transnational crimes and ensuring border security and safety, which has significantly contributed to maintaining political stability and fostering trade and socio-economic development in both provinces.

Speaking at the meeting, Major General Nguyen Van Han emphasized that the An Giang Provincial Police Department always values and seeks to further strengthen its cooperative relationship with the Kandal Provincial Police Department, in the spirit of solidarity, friendship and comprehensive cooperation.

He also expressed confidence that the relationship between the two police departments would continue to develop effectively, contributing to the enhancement of the traditional friendship between Vietnam and Cambodia.

For his part, Lieutenant General Chseaun Sokchetta expressed sincere gratitude for the warm reception given by the An Giang Provincial Police Department, and affirmed his commitment to further strengthening cooperation, information exchange and joint efforts to build a peaceful, stable and sustainable border region.

The visit by the Kandal Provincial Police Department is part of the annual cooperation activities between the two provincial police forces, contributing to cementing their friendship, solidarity and comprehensive cooperation for the shared goal of safeguarding national security and social order in the two provinces in particular, and the two countries in general.
