
Deputy Minister Pham The Tung attends 12th Party Congress of Ca Mau Provincial Police Department
The Party Committee of the Ca Mau Provincial Police Department solemnly held its 12th Party Congress for the 2025–2030 tenure on August 4, 2025.

Member of the Standing Committee of the Public Security Central Party Committee and Deputy Minister of Public Security Senior Lieutenant General Pham The Tung attended and delivered remarks at the Congress.

According to the political report presented at the congress, during the 2020–2025 tenure, thanks to the sound leadership of the Public Security Central Party Committee, the Ministry of Public Security, the Standing Board of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee and the Ca Mau Provincial People’s Committee, the close coordination and support of local agencies as well as the trust and assistance of the people, the Party Committee of the Ca Mau Provincial Police Department effectively realized the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress and proactively advised Party committees and authorities at all levels on key guidelines and policies, contributing significantly to maintaining security and order and supporting socio-economic development in the province.
At the Congress, the Organizing Committee announced the Decision of the Standing Board of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee on appointing 23 senior officers to the Executive Committee of the Provincial Police Party Committee for the 2025–2030 tenure and seven of them to its Standing Board.

Accordingly, Director of the Ca Mau Provincial Police Department Senior Colonel Ho Viet Trieu was appointed as Secretary of the Party Committee of the Ca Mau Provincial Police Department.
Addressing the congress, Deputy Minister Pham The Tung underlined that the Party Committee of the Ca Mau Provincial Police Department (comprising the two former provincial police departments of Bac Lieu and Ca Mau) had significantly contributed to the overall achievements of the Public Security Forces in recent years.

On behalf of the Public Security Central Party Committee and the Ministry of Public Security, Deputy Minister Pham The Tung acclaimed the efforts, determination, and achievements of the Ca Mau Provincial Police Party Committee in the past tenure.
He requested that the Ca Mau Provincial Police Force continue to take the lead in implementing the Party’s guidelines, particularly the “four pillars” resolutions issued by the Politburo, while further promoting digital transformation, administrative reform to better serve the public enterprises, contributing positively to the province’s goal of achieving an economic growth rate of 8% in 2025 and the following years.
Finally, the Deputy Minister urged the Party Committee of the Ca Mau Provincial Police Department to strengthen its leadership on building a truly clean, strong, exemplary Party organization to meet the task requirements in the new context.
