1st Northern Region Public Security Pickleball Open successfully concludes

The closing ceremony was attended by Deputy Director of the Department of Political Affairs, Vice President and Secretary-General of the Vietnamese Public Security Sports Association Senior Colonel Nguyen Thi Thuy Thanh and Chief of the Association’s Office Major General Le Xuan Duc.

The tournament attracted 650 amateur athletes, including 150 ones from other sectors outside the Public Security Forces and 500 officers, enlistees and workers working in the Public Security Forces.

Notably, 60 athletes were senior leaders and commanders of units and agencies in the Public Security Forces.

After the four-day competition, the Organizing Committee presented awards to outstanding individuals and teams across all competition categories.

As part of the program marking the 80th founding anniversary of the Public Security Forces and the 20th anniversary of the “All People Protecting National Security” Festival, the tournament aimed to promote a healthy, active lifestyle, the physical training movement and solidarity within the Public Security Forces and society at large.
