The forces had achieved significant results in combating corruption, wastefulness and misconduct, as well as drug-related crime, online scams and intellectual property violations. Meanwhile, the Public Security Forces had also strengthened relations and cooperation with foreign partners, and promoted international integration.

Regarding key tasks for the remainder of the year, General Secretary and State President To Lam agreed with the proposed directions and the remarks delivered by the key leaders and underscored several important issues.

He requested the Public Security Forces to step up the implementation of the principle of “proactive security” in all areas of public security work.

The Ministry should advise on and promote the resolute and effective implementation of adopted resolutions, conclusions and projects; focus on addressing emerging and complex security and order issues; and create strong and visible progress in consolidating and developing a modern, multi-layered all-people national security posture.

The Ministry should also advise on resolutely implementing the roadmap for strengthening human security.
