Minister Luong Tam Quang works with Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee Standing Board

Delivering a report on the leadership over security and order protection work in 2025, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee Ho Xuan Truong stated that social order-related crimes in the province decreased by 38% compared to 2024, while the traffic order and safety situation was improved; as a result, the numbers of traffic cases and traffic casualties dropped. He added that Khanh Hoa was also among the first localities to launch the project on “Building drug-free communes, wards and special administrative zones in the 2025–2030 period.”

The Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee also directed the local police to actively participate  in disaster prevention, rescue and relief operations based on the “four on-site forces” principle. During natural disasters, the provincial police mobilized maximum forces and means to evacuate and assist more than 30,900 households and nearly 119,000 people.

Notably, the Khanh Hoa Provincial Police Department is implementing a project to build 23 houses for households affected by recent natural disasters, which is supposed to complete by December 31, 2025.

Regarding socio-economic development, Secretary of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee Nghiem Xuan Thanh revealed that Khanh Hoa reached 21 out of the 22 set targets, with more than 50% of the targets exceeding the plan.

He added that the province’s gross regional domestic product (GRDP) was likely to grow some 7.11%, while the 2025 state budget revenue was estimated at 36.9 trillion VND, exceeding the target set by the central government by 31.9% and increasing by 45.6% compared to 2024.

Speaking at the working session, Minister Luong Tam Quang highly hailed Khanh Hoa’s socio-economic achievements and its stable security and order situation in recent times.

The Minister emphasized that the Ministry of Public Security would continue to direct its units to closely accompany and effectively coordinate with the Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee in the spirit of “constructiveness, partnership and maximum supportiveness for development.”

Minister Luong Tam Quang requested the Standing Board of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee to closely follow and effectively implement key resolutions of the Politburo, while strictly adhering to the Party’s viewpoint of “development for stability and stability for development.”

He also urged the Provincial Party Committee to attach greater importance to ensuring absolute external security, internal affairs and economic security, as well as to seek effective approaches to prevent crime  reduce the crime rate, and step up the building of drug-free communes and wards.
