
Deputy Minister Pham The Tung hosts Evangelical Church of Vietnam (North)
Member of the Party Central Committee and Deputy Minister of Public Security Senior Lieutenant General Pham The Tung hosted a meeting with a delegation of the Evangelical Church of Vietnam (North), led by its President, Pastor Bui Van San, who paid a Tet visit to the Ministry of Public Security, on the morning of February 10 in Hanoi.

On behalf of the Evangelical Church of Vietnam (North), Pastor Bui Van San expressed appreciation for the regards and goodwill of the leadership of the Ministry of Public Security and officers of the Public Security Forces toward the religious community.
He highly commended the Public Security Forces on their outstanding achievements in 2025, and appreciated the forces for creating favorable conditions for the Protestant community to do legal procedures and ensuring security for it to carry out religious and belief-related activities in accordance with the law.
On this occasion of the upcoming Lunar New Year, Pastor Bui Van San extended best regards to the leaders of the Ministry of Public Security, as well as generals, officers and enlistees of the Public Security Forces, wishing that the entire Public Security Forces would continue to successfully fulfill their mission of safeguarding national security and maintaining social order and safety in 2026.
On behalf of the Public Security Central Party Committee and the leadership of the Ministry of Public Security, Deputy Minister Pham The Tung sincerely thanked the leadership of the Evangelical Church of Vietnam (North) for their concern and warm sentiments toward the Public Security Forces.
The Deputy Minister also expressed his appreciation for the contributions and collaboration of the Evangelical Church of Vietnam (North) in ensure security and order and voiced his hope that the Church would continue to contribute to strengthening the great national unity bloc and to the country’s development and prosperity.
