Deputy Minister Dang Hong Duc inspects Khanh Hoa Provincial Police Department’s public security work

Earlier, from June 5 to 6, a working group of Inspection Team No. 6, led by Deputy Chief of the MPS Office  Major General Nguyen Hong Nguyen, conducted a comprehensive inspection of its professional work and the implementation of its targets for the first half of 2026, as well as the results of one year of the Khánh Hoa Provincial Police Department’s operation under the two-level local public security model.

The inspection focused on several key areas, including safeguarding national security, preventing and combating crime, law violations and social evils, state management of security and order, Party building and force development, the development of communal-level police force to meet task requirements in the new situation and several urgent and emerging issues arising during the first six months of the year.

At the meeting, delegates thoroughly reviewed and discussed the inspection report. 

According to the report, during the first six months of 2026, the Khanh Hoa Provincial Police Department exceeded a number of assigned work targets.

In his remarks, Deputy Minister Dang Hong Duc highly appreciated the high sense of responsibility, efforts and achievements of officers and enlistees of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Police Force.

The Deputy Minister emphasized that as Khanh Hoa is a key locality in terms of economic and cultural development,  the Khanh Hoa Provincial Police Department should synchronously implement professional measures, closely grasp the situation on the ground, proactively develop security plans and strengthen efforts to ensure political security in the locality. 

They should also intensify preventive measures and launch strong attacks on organized criminal groups, corruption and economic crimes, as well as cyber-enabled fraud.

He also stressed the need to appropriately allocate criminal investigators among professional divisions and communal-level police units, while enhancing foreign language training for officers serving in areas with large numbers of foreign tourists.

Based on the inspection results, Deputy Minister Dang Hong Duc requested the Khanh Hoa Provincial Police Department to continue promoting effective practices and achievements, while focusing on building a truly clean, strong and professional police force capable of meeting the requirements of safeguarding national security and ensuring social order and safety in the current period.
