Attracting intellectual resources of overseas Vietnamese experts for building the security industry

At the meeting, Deputy Minister Nguyen Ngoc Lam highly appreciated Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich Yen’s outstanding scientific achievements in the semiconductor sector, commending her prestigious international awards as well as her dedication to the development of high technology in the homeland.

The Deputy Minister affirmed that the Ministry of Public Security always attaches importance to attracting the intellectual resources of overseas Vietnamese experts to serve the goal of building a modern, self-reliant security industry capable of proactive international integration.

For her part, Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich Yen applauded the strategic vision of the leadership of the Ministry of Public Security and reaffirmed her commitment to contributing her expertise and mobilizing advanced technological resources to support Vietnam’s development in key scientific and technological fields.

In a spirit of openness and mutual trust, the two sides exchanged views on strategic directions for cooperation aimed at maximizing the capabilities of public security experts and technology enterprises under the Ministry of Public Security in researching and developing advanced technical solutions as well as solutions for building and safeguarding critical databases, thereby contributing to the establishment of a “steel shield” to protect national security in the digital era.
