Thanh Hoa police assist lost foreign tourist

With their strong sense of responsibility as well as friendliness and hospitality, officers of the Security Group of the Nong Cong Communal Police Station provided him with detailed travel guidance and necessary material, and helped him catch the right coach to continue his journey.

According to Mr. Serhei, he had entered Vietnam for tourism purposes and planned to travel from Hanoi to Da Nang to visit his friends.

However, due to language barriers, he mistakenly boarded the wrong coach and ended up in Nong Cong Commune. In the hot weather and unfamiliar surroundings, the tourist encountered considerable difficulties in identifying the location and finding the right coach to continue his trip.

Upon receiving his report, officers of the Nong Cong Communal Police Station promptly verified his identity, checked his immigration and residence status, and relieve him, helping him regain his composure.

After the quick verification, the police determined that Mr. Serhei had entered Vietnam on June 2, 2026, for tourism purposes.

Understanding the circumstances of the foreign visitor, the police officers carefully guided him toward the right travel route, provided him with drinking water and other necessities, and accompanied him to a coach pick-up point so that he could continue his journey to Da Nang.
