National Data Center rolls out work plan for 2026

Deputy Minister of Public Security Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Long chaired the meeting.

In 2025, the NDC played a pivotal role in advising the leadership of the Ministry of Public Security on the implementation of Politburo Resolution No. 57, as well as on the preparatory work for the launch of the Data Law on July 1, 2025.

The NDC also completed the construction of National Data Center No. 1 in accordance with national and international standards, as well as developed the National Public Service Portal into a single, unified “one-stop digital gateway”, among other key achievements.

Addressing the meeting, on behalf of the Public Security Central Party Committee and the leadership of the Ministry of Public Security, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Long warmly commended the NDC for its efforts, determination and outstanding achievements in 2025.

Agreeing with the NDC’s work orientations and tasks for 2026, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Long requested that the NDC continue to well perform its function as a strategic advisor, proactively and closely coordinate with relevant units to effectively implement the Data Law and its guiding documents, and promptly advise the Ministry of Public Security’s leadership on improving the institutional framework, mechanisms and policies for national data governance, utilization and development.

Regarding the data for administrative reforms, the Deputy Minister emphasized that the NDC should closely coordinate with ministries, sectors and localities to standardize and synchronously deploy national and sectoral databases in agreement with the National Data Framework, the National Data Governance and Management Framework and the Shared Data Dictionary.

He also required that the NDC should review public services to propose reductions and process reengineering, and implement end-to-end public services according to data maturity levels, targeting citizens and businesses.

In addition, the Deputy Minister stressed the need to ensure absolute security and safety of the NDC’s infrastructure, as well as the security and safety of national information systems and data, preventing any incidents that could disrupt the operation of critical information systems.
