MPS to decline to receive visitors on 81st Traditional Day of People’s Public Security Forces

On the milestone of the 81st Traditional Day of the People’s Public Security Forces (August 19, 1945 – August 19, 2026) and the 21st anniversary of the All-People Festival for National Security Protection (August 19, 2005 – August 19, 2026), the People’s Public Security Forces express their profound gratitude to the Party and the State. The People’s Public Security Forces also extend their sincere thanks to central commissions, ministries, agencies, mass organizations, local Party committees, authorities and the general public for their invaluable assistance and for creating favorable conditions that have enabled the forces to successfully fulfill all of their assigned duties. The People’s Public Security Forces look forward to receiving continued coordination and enhanced support in the time ahead.

Pursuant to Directive No. 45-CT/TW dated July 22, 2010, of the 11th Politburo on “Renovating and elevating the efficiency of organizing commemorative events, as well as ceremonies for awarding and receiving State honorary titles and forms of commendation”; Government Decree No. 111/2018/ND-CP dated August 31, 2018, regulating founding anniversaries, traditional days and observance days of ministries, sectors and localities; and executive directives from the Party Central Committee and the Government on practicing thrift and combating wastefulness, the MPS will not organize welcoming receptions or accept congratulatory floral tributes at the main ministry headquarters or at any subordinate public security agencies and local police units during the anniversary.
