MPS reviews enrollment in public security schools

The Ministry of Public Security (MPS) held a meeting to review the public security school entrance exam and enrollment work in 2025, and roll out the plan to organize the public security school entrance exam and enrollment work in 2026, on the morning of March 5 in Hanoi.

According to reports presented at the meeting, the MPS successfully organized the 2025 public security tertiary school entrance exam, which took place in a secure and safe manner and in line with the regulations. The examination received public support as well as positive evaluations from educational experts.

Meanwhile, public security tertiary schools and relevant agencies under the MPS carried out the enrollment work in alignment with the guidelines of the Public Security Central Party Committee and the leadership of the Ministry of Public Security as well as with the admission regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training and other specific criteria of the Ministry of Public Security.

During discussions, delegates frankly addressed remaining challenges and obstacles and proposed approaches to effectively implement the public security school enrollment program in 2026 and the following years.

Addressing the meeting, Deputy Minister Le Quoc Hung requested functional departments and educational institutions under the Ministry of Public Security to further renew their mindsets and raise their awareness of the importance of education, training and enrollment work, as well as grasp the new requirements for the recruitment of the Public Security Forces.

He stressed that recruitment plays the first and crucial part in the personnel work and the education and training process of the Public Security Forces.

The Deputy Minister called on relevant public security units and agencies, as well as all public security academies, universities and colleges, to seriously implement the policies and orientations of the Party, the State, the Public Security Central Party Committee and the Ministry of Public Security on creating breakthroughs in education and training in the Public Security Forces, saying that the public security education and training needs to accord with the reform roadmap of the national education system and the new missions of the Public Security Forces under the three-tier public security organizational model.

Deputy Minister Le Quoc Hung assigned the Public Security Department of Training and Education to proactively study and closely follow adjustments to the 2026 university admission process with the new general education curriculum promulgated by the Ministry of Education and Training, while taking into account the specific characteristics of the public security sector.

The department should also instruct public security units, agencies, academies and schools to implement the approved plan and the schedule on the 2026 public security tertiary school enrollment.

He further requested public security tertiary institutions to coordinate closely with relevant units to thoroughly prepare conditions for the organization of the public security tertiary school entrance exam in a safe, disciplined and effective manner.
