2026 military enlistment ceremony held in Dien Bien

The ceremony was attended by Members of the Party Central Committee: Deputy Minister of Public Security Lieutenant General Dang Hong Duc and Secretary of the Dien Bien Provincial Party Committee Tran Tien Dung.

In 2026, Dien Bien province has 1,246 citizens joining the armed forces. All recruits fully meet the standards in terms of political qualifications, health and educational background.

Among the 396 citizens performing service in the Public Security Forces, more than 20 hold vocational qualifications at intermediate level or higher, including 16 university graduates, 9 members of the Communist Party of Vietnam and one female recruit.

Addressing the ceremony, Deputy Minister Dang Hong Duc emphasized that performing military service and service in the Public Security Forces is not only a responsibility but also a great honor for every citizen toward the Fatherland.

He encouraged the new recruits to study and train diligently to become exemplary soldiers and successfully fulfill all tasks assigned by the Vietnam People’s Army and the Public Security Forces of Vietnam, living up to the trust of Party committees, authorities and people of all ethnic groups in the province.

The enlistment ceremonies were organized solemnly and strictly at all locations, ensuring absolute safety.

Local authorities, agencies and mass organizations actively encouraged and presented gifts to the recruits, creating a joyful atmosphere and strengthening the determination of young people as they set off to perform their duties.

The enlistment ceremonies concluded with confidence and hope as 1,246 outstanding sons and daughters of Dien Bien began a new chapter, entering an environment that will shape their willpower, courage and aspiration to contribute to the nation.
