Member of the Party Central Committee and Deputy Minister of Public Security Senior Lieutenant General Le Quoc Hung chaired the conference.

In recent years, the National Assembly and the Government have issued various legal documents to strengthen the legal foundation for the Security Guard Force to do their duties, notably the Law on Security Guard and the Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Security Guard.
On the basis of the legal documents, the Public Security Central Party Committee and the MPS have promulgated specific directives and guidelines on security guarding work in accordance with the current laws and the force’s real working conditions.

During the conference, the delegates listened to new regulations related to the Security Guard Force, the key tasks, as well as discussed approaches to address existing challenges with the aim of improving the quality and efficiency of security guarding work in the coming time.
At the event, delegates watched a documentary showing recent risks and dangers threatening the safety of guarded persons. They were also briefed by senior officers from the Security Guard Command on MPS-issued circulars, procedures and guidelines on protective measures to safeguard the protected persons.
The Command also presented security guarding plans to be deployed in the 34 provinces and cities nationwide.
Delegates exchanged views and discussed a wide range of issues regarding the implementation of security guard tasks, and shared hands-on experience in ensuring security and safety of the protected persons.

Deputy Minister Le Quoc Hung concludes the conference.
Concluding the conference, Deputy Minister Le Quoc Hung praised the relevant public security units and agencies for their excellent performance of the task of ensuring security and safety of the protected persons, contributing to maintaining political stability as well as safeguarding national security and ensuring social order and safety.
He urged all public security units and agencies to thoroughly grasp and apply the proactive security approach, provide sound advice on security guarding plans, and take effective measures to ensure the absolute safety of protected persons, avoiding mistakes, even the smallest one, in all circustances.
