
Lang Son police provide free medical check-ups for local residents
The Lang Son Provincial Police Department, in coordination with the Vietnam Young Physicians Association and the Hanoi General Hospital, organized a social program offering free medical check-ups, health counseling and medication for local residents in communes formally of Bac Son district, on October 4, 2025.

Medical teams provided services at two locations — the Bac Son Regional Medical Center and the Vu Lang Communal Health Station.
During the program, the participating physicians examined more than 1,000 residents.
They carried out ultrasounds, screen tests for cardiovascular, musculoskeletal, dermatological, ENT, ophthalmological, pediatric and nutritional issues as well as basic blood tests. Free medicines were also distributed according to doctors’ prescriptions.


In addition, the medical group conducted public health education sessions, offering local residents practical advice on disease prevention, environmental hygiene and management of common health conditions such as hypertension, diabetes and respiratory illnesses.
The initiative was held in response to the campaign “For a Healthier Vietnam”, aiming to support and provide healthcare services to people in need, thereby contributing to improving the public health, enhancing the quality of life of the people and ensuring social welfare in the province.
