Vinh Long Provincial Police Drug Rehabilitation Facility provides literacy classes for trainees
To support drug rehabilitation trainees to reintegrate into the community in the future, Drug Rehabilitation Facility No. 2 under the Counter-Narcotics Police Division of the Vinh Long Provincial Police Department, in coordination with Tan Xuan 1 Primary School, opened a literacy and basic education class for detoxified students at the facility, on the morning of November 26, 2025.

The literacy and basic education programme will provide 42 trainees with essential knowledge, teaching themselves to read, write and do basic mathematic problems according to the curriculum prescribed by the Ministry of Education and Training for illiterates.
The literacy and basic education course aims to help the trainees know how to read, write and do calculation, thereby enabling them to improve their knowledge, gain greater self-confidence in life, creating an important basis for them to successfully reintegrate into the community when they finish the detoxification course.
