Reviewing preparatory work for the signing of UN Convention against Cybercrime

The Ministry of Public Security and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs co-held a meeting to review the preparatory work for the upcoming Signing Ceremony of the United Nations Convention against Cybercrime, on the afternoon of October 7, in Hanoi.

At the meeting, representatives of the Department of Cybersecurity and Hi-tech Crimes under the Ministry of Public Security presented reports on the preparation for the signing ceremony.

Under the chairmanship of Deputy Minister Pham The Tung and Deputy Minister Dang Hoang Giang, representatives of the Ministry of Public Security, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the National Cybersecurity Association discussed a wide range of issues related to the organization of the signing ceremony, including logistics, protocol, security and communication.

Following the discussion session, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Dang Hoang Giang provided specific instructions on several matters regarding the preparation for the event.

Concluding the meeting, Deputy Minister Pham The Tung requested all members of the Steering Committee and relevant agencies to seriously implement their assignments according to their designated responsibilities and functions in line with the approved plan, contributing to the success of the upcoming Signing Ceremony.
