Public Security Central Party Committee Inspection Commission convenes first plenary session

The Inspection Commission of the Public Security Central Party Committee for the 2025–2030 term held its first plenary session, on the morning of June 23 in Hanoi.

The session was chaired by Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Public Security Central Party Committee, Chairman of the Inspection Commission and Deputy Minister of Public Security Senior Lieutenant General Le Quoc Hung.

At the session, the Inspection Commission discussed and weighed in on several critical draft documents, including the Working Regulations of the Commission for the 2025–2030 term, the Inspection and Supervision Work Program for the 2025–2030 term, and the Notice on the Assignment of Responsibilities to Commission Members for the 2025–2030 term.

Concluding the session, Deputy Minister Le Quoc Hung emphasized that the draft Working Regulations, promulgated under the authority of the Public Security Central Party Committee, had been developed in strict compliance with Party procedures. He noted that the drafting process successfully ensured democratic principles, building upon provisions that have proven effective in practice while eliminating unnecessary steps in Party inspection, supervision, and disciplinary enforcement.

He also highlighted that the draft Notice on the Assignment of Responsibilities introduced several key innovations, further defining individual responsibilities and elevating the active role of each commission member.

Deputy Minister Le Quoc Hung requested the Standing Committee of the Inspection Commission to fully incorporate the feedback from the session's participants to promptly finalize the draft documents. These will be submitted to the Secretary of the Public Security Central Party Committee for final approval.

Regarding upcoming tasks, the Deputy Minister stressed that the Inspection Commission should map out clear priorities. Top priority should be given to inspection, supervision, and disciplinary cases falling under the direct authority of the Standing Board of the Public Security Central Party Committee and the Party Central Committee, alongside resolving any outstanding backlog.

Furthermore, he emphasized the need to enhance specialized training and professional development for inspection bodies at all levels across the People's Public Security Forces to elevate their operational quality and efficiency in the new era.
