Ninh Binh police strengthens communications on crime prevention at local banks

The program was attended by nearly 300 officials, employees and security personnel from the two Agribank branches.

At the event, police officers provided an overview of the crime situation as well as tactics and tricks used by criminals in recent robberies, snatchings and thefts at banking offices nationwide.     

The police focused on analyzing the remaining shortcomings and limitations in technical and procedural measures for crime prevention at banks, as well as provided them with methods and skills to identify suspicious individuals, techniques for self-defense and procedures for activating alarm systems, reporting incidents and handling emergency situations when robberies or thefts happen.

The program aimed to raise the bankers and workers’ awareness of preventing crime at banks and strengthen their vigilance and their ability to proactively prevent, detect and effectively respond to potential criminal incidents.

These efforts are expected to improve the overall efficiency of crime prevention and control, particularly against robbery, snatching and theft, thereby contributing to ensuring security and order in the locality and supporting the safe and efficient operation of the banking system.
