Minister Luong Tam Quang noted that several MPS units had recently visited Türkiye to directly study, experience and evaluate products and solutions developed by ICT and ANVI. He described these as practical activities that had enabled both sides to gain a better understanding of each other’s capabilities, products, needs and potential for future cooperation.

Highly appreciating the experience, capacity and achievements of the two groups, Minister Luong Tam Quang stated that the Vietnamese Ministry of Public Security wished to study international experience and explore solutions for data integration, security surveillance and early warning of safety and security risks, as well as measures to protect detention facilities against emerging security challenges arising from scientific and technological development.

To advance cooperation in the coming period, Minister Luong Tam Quang proposed that the two groups continue facilitating contacts between MPS functional units and leading Turkish enterprises in the security industry, while promoting technology transfer and the manufacture of supporting equipment and specialized vehicles for safeguarding national security and maintaining social order and safety.

The two sides should also continue exchanging experience in developing smart detention facilities; centralized management and operation; digital transformation and the application of artificial intelligence to management; and solutions for ensuring the security and safety of detention facilities and countering emerging security threats, including those posed by unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).
