MPS reviews education and training work in Q3

The Ministry of Public Security (MPS) held a meeting to review the education and training work of public security academies and schools in the third quarter of 2025, on the afternoon of October 10, in Ho Chi Minh City.

In the third quarter of 2025, public security educational institutions effectively implemented various key tasks related to Party building, force building, education and training as well as other professional duties, achieving significant and comprehensive results.

Addressing the meeting, Deputy Minister Tran Quoc To recognized and acclaimed the efforts and achievements attained by public security academies and schools over the past period. 

He requested that all public security educational institutions continue to closely follow the directions of the Public Security Central Party Committee and the Ministry’s leadership on fundamentally and comprehensively renovating education and training programs for the Public Security Forces, while emphasizing the need to thoroughly grasp and effectively implement the Politburo’s Resolution No. 71-NQ/TW on breakthroughs in education and training development.

Deputy Minister Tran Quoc To stressed that educational and training activities should be closely linked with Party building and force building, while each institution should design and carry out their education and training programs in a flexible way to suit theit specific conditions so as to achieve high efficiency.

He urged all public security academies and schools to further build the capacity of their teaching staff by assigning them to fieldwork and rotational positions to improve their professional qualifications and practical experience. 

He also emphasized the importance of tightening discipline and student management at schools to comprehensively foster cadets’ professional ethics and knowledge.

Finally, the Deputy Minister suggested further expanding cooperation with foreign partners and under-ministerial departments to continuously improve the quality of education, training and scientific research, as well as proactively applying information technology in the fields of teaching, learning, testing and scientific research.
