MPS honors typical female police officers in 2025

The Ministry of Public Security held an art program titled “Shining from the People’s Trust” to mark the 10th anniversary of the “Outstanding Female Public Security Officer” Award, on the evening of May 17 in Hanoi.

At the event, the Ministry of Public Security also conferred the 2025 “Outstanding Female Public Security Officer” Award on typical policewomen from grassroots police units in 2025.

Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Public Security Central Party Committee and Deputy Minister of Public Security Senior Lieutenant General Le Quoc Hung attended and delivered remarks at the event.

Also present at the event was Member of the Party Central Committee, Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and President of the Vietnam Women’s Union Le Thi Thuy.

Since 2015, the “Outstanding Female Public Security Officer” Award has been organized to recognize, honor and spread exemplary images of outstanding women in the Public Security Forces nationwide.

After 10 years, the award has become an important hallmark in women’s affairs of the Public Security Forces and a great source of encouragement for female officers and enlistees.

In this year’s program, the Ministry of Public Security honored 25 outstanding female public security officers and commended 68 excellent policewomen from grassroots units nationwide.

These are exemplary representatives of female officers of the Public Security Forces in the new era, who have been striving to study, train, work and fight crime while actively participating in the “Three Best” emulation movement as well as the movement of studying and following President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality and lifestyle, thereby making positive contributions to the accomplishments of the political tasks of the Public Security Forces.

Addressing the program, Deputy Minister Le Quoc Hung underlined that the Public Security Central Party Committee and the Ministry of Public Security’s leadership always paid special attention to women’s affairs and promulgated many policies and mechanisms to encourage and motivate women in the Public Security Forces.

The Deputy Minister also acknowledged and commended the 25 outstanding female public security officers and 68 excellent grassroots policewomen across the country, describing them as outstanding representatives of women in the Public Security Forces in the new era who are courageous, intelligent and creative, overcoming hardships and willingly sacrificing for the peace and happiness of the people, thereby contributing to continuing the glorious traditions of the Public Security Forces.

In the coming time, Deputy Minister Le Quoc Hung requested Party committees and leaders of public security units at all levels to continue thoroughly grasping and seriously implementing directives, resolutions and conclusions of the Party Central Committee, the Public Security Central Party Committee, the Ministry of Public Security’s leadership and the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women’s Union regarding women’s affairs, while creating more favorable conditions for women’s unions within the Public Security Forces to effectively fulfill their assigned political tasks.

He also urged women’s unions at all levels and female officers in the Public Security Forces to continue studying and following the Six Teachings of President Ho Chi Minh for the Public Security Forces and effectively implement the “Three Best” emulation movement, contributing to building the image of Vietnamese policewomen as “Courageous – Humane – Intelligent – Disciplined – Creative – Wholeheartedly serving the People.”
