MPS Construction Consultancy Center urged to become a strong brand

Member of the Party Central Committee and Deputy Minister of Public Security Lieutenant General Dang Hong Duc attended and delivered a keynote speech at the meeting. 

Director of the Department of Construction Management and Barracks Major General Ha Van Tuyen chaired the meeting.

According to the report presented at the meeting, after four years, the establishment of the Center has proven to be a sound policy of the MPS, aligning with legal regulations and practical socio-economic development. It has brought high efficiency in advising on management and guiding construction investment activities within the MPS, addressing technical requirements in construction, and developing the construction investment consultancy capacity of the Public Security Forces in the new situation.

Accordingly, the Center has effectively leveraged and developed its internal strengths. It has successfully established a direct bridge from management agencies and specialized units under the MPS to project owners and stakeholders participating in construction activities during the deployment of Ministry policies. This includes project preparation and the implementation of construction investment projects within the Public Security Forces, while effectively and efficiently supporting state management in this field.

Over its four years of operation, the Center has progressively asserted its role and consultancy capacity within the Public Security Forces, successfully signing numerous high-value contracts.

Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Minister Dang Hong Duc acknowledged and praised the MPS Construction Consultancy Center for its achievements over the past period.

To build a stronger Center that meets the demands of the new era and the expectations of the Ministry’s leadership, Deputy Minister Dang Hong Duc requested the Center to clearly define its position, capacity and potential so as it can map out concrete development goals and solutions, executing plans to achieve the highest efficiency in terms of revenue, profit and employee income.

He stressed the need to focus on improving the quality of human resources, review and arrange its leadership and staff in strict accordance with their competence and job positions, and prioritize professional training to build a highly qualified workforce capable of fulfilling tasks in the new situation. 

The Center should continuously innovate its mindset, foster an proactive and creative spirit among its personnel, and establish appropriate mechanisms to attract and retain high-quality talents.

The Deputy Minister requested the Center to be more proactive in seeking projects, secure contracts, and promote its status on market while perfecting its governance and operational mechanisms, enhancing its autonomy and self-responsibility. 

It should also pay special attention to brand building and promotion, strengthening partnerships with major corporations and leading consultancy firms to acquire experience, and gradually building a capacity strong enough to compete in non-industry projects, thereby elevating its brand and competitive position.
