Minister Luong Tam Quang receives Standing Member of Lao Party Secretariat

Welcoming Standing Member of the Lao Secretariat Vilay Lakhamphong on his official visit to Viet Nam, on behalf of the Executive Committee of the Public Security CPV Organization, the leadership of the Ministry of Public Security of Viet Nam, and in his own name, Minister Luong Tam Quang extended his warmest wishes for good health, happiness and success to him and the high-level delegation of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party.

Minister Luong Tam Quang underscored that, during his tenure as Lao Minister of Public Security, Comrade Vilay Lakhamphong had devoted significant attention, leadership and pivotal contributions to consolidating and developing cooperation between the Ministries of Public Security of the two nations. The Ministry of Public Security of Viet Nam deeply treasures his valuable sentiments, close coordination, and steadfast support.

The Minister expressed his hope that, in his current position, the Standing Member of the Lao Secretariat will continue to champion and advance the great friendship, special solidarity, comprehensive cooperation, and strategic alignment between the two countries in general, and between their respective Ministries of Public Security in particular. On this occasion, Minister Luong Tam Quang also proposed Standing Member of the Lao Secretariat Vilay Lakhamphong’s continued backing and promotion of several key cooperation priorities.

Minister Luong Tam Quang expressed his firm confidence that, under the close guidance of the top leadership of the two Parties and States, and particularly with the ongoing attention of the Standing Member of the Lao Secretariat, the cooperative relationship between the two Ministries of Public Security will grow increasingly deep, substantive and effective.

Expressing sincere gratitude for the warm, gracious and thoughtful reception extended by the Ministry of Public Security of Viet Nam, Standing Member of the Lao Secretariat Vilay Lakhamphong affirmed that close cooperation between the two countries’ Ministries of Public security has played a key role in deepening and solidifying the enduring bond between the two Parties, States, and peoples.

The Standing Member of the Secretariat of the Lao Party Central Committee expressed his desire for bilateral security cooperation to reach new heights, contributing to maintaining stability, security, and social order, while further nurturing the traditional friendship, special solidarity, and comprehensive cooperation between Laos and Viet Nam.
