
Minister Luong Tam Quang meets with Philippine National Security Adviser
As a member of a high-ranking delegation accompanying General Secretary and President To Lam on his State visit to the Philippines, Minister of Public Security General Luong Tam Quang had a bilateral meeting with Philippine National Security Adviser Eduardo San Lorenzo Oban Jr. on June 1 in Manila.

At the meeting, Minister Luong Tam Quang and National Security Adviser Eduardo San Lorenzo Oban Jr. agreed that the longstanding friendship and traditional relations between Vietnam and the Philippines have continued to flourish through both bilateral and multilateral channels, bringing substantial benefits to the peoples of the two countries while contributing positively to peace, stability and shared prosperity in the region and the world.
To further deepen the Enhanced Strategic Partnership between the two countries, the two sides agreed to continue strengthening exchanges of delegations and establishing new security cooperation mechanisms in potential areas, including collaboration in responding to non-traditional security threats.
In addition, the two sides will maintain close coordination to ensure absolute security and safety for high-level visits and safeguard the security and safety of diplomatic missions in each country.
Furthermore, the two sides agreed to continue creating favorable conditions for citizens of one country to live, study, work and travel legally in the other country, while absolutely denying any individual or organization from using the territory of one country to conduct sabotage activities against the other.
