Leaders of Ministry of Public Security work with Standing Board of Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee

Member of the Politburo, Secretary of the Public Security Central Party Committee and Minister of Public Security General Luong Tam Quang and Member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee Le Duc Thai co-chaired the working session.

Reporting on the results of the province’s socio-economic development, national defense and security and Party building in the past years, Chairman of the Thanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Hoai Anh stated that, under the leadership and direction of the Party Central Committee, the National Assembly, the Government and the Prime Minister, and thanks to the good coordination and support of the Ministry of Public Security and other ministries and sectors, Thanh Hoa province’s Party organization, administration, armed forces and people had united in overcoming difficulties and challenges, and achieved many important results.

At the meeting, the Standing Board of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee gave a number of proposals to the Public Security Central Party Committee and the Ministry of Public Security, including those related to the investigation of major cases, construction of communal police stations, investment in a security industrial zone, support for building a digital economic platform in ethnic minority areas, and assistance in building houses for poor households.

Addressing the meeting, Minister Luong Tam Quang highly valued the outstanding achievements attained by the Party organization, authority and people of Thanh Hoa province in recent years, noting that the living standards of local residents had improved significantly.

Minister Luong Tam Quang requested that the Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee and the provincial police force should have new thinking and awareness of protecting national security in line with the Resolution of the 14th National Party Congress.

He also urged the province to accelerate the development of science, technology and digital transformation to better serve people and businesses, implement Project 06 in association with the tasks and solutions under Politburo Resolution No. 57, enhance the simplification of administrative procedures, and promote the exploitation of utilities on the VNeID application to support social governance and social welfare implementation.

The Minister further requested the Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee to continue directing the provincial police force to effectively carry out social welfare activities and proactively prevent and respond to natural disasters in the rainy season.

Minister Luong Tam Quang expressed his hope that the Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee would continue directing the Thanh Hoa Police Force to build a revolutionary, regular, elite and modern force, and early completing the construction of the headquarters for the Thanh Hoa Provincial Police Department and locw, with priority given to key, remote and isolated areas.
