
Public security doctors offer free medical check-ups to people in border area
The Traditional Medicine Hospital under the Ministry of Public Security, in coordination with the Cao Bang Provincial Police Department, held a social program, providing free medical check-ups, medicines and gifts to disadvantaged people in Lung Nam commune, on May 24, 2026.

Within the framework of the program, medical staff from the Public Security Forces conducted general health check-ups, ultrasound scans, electrocardiograms, X-ray examinations and health consultations for 375 local residents.
After the examinations, each resident received essential medicines free of charge and was guided by doctors how to take care of their health and prevent diseases at home.
As part of the social program, delegates presented 350 gifts to policy beneficiary families, wounded and sick veterans, people with meritorious services to the revolution, poor households in especially difficult circumstances and disadvantaged students with excellent school performances.
Through the voluntary activities, the Traditional Medicine Hospital under the Ministry of Public Security helped local residents in Lung Nam commune access modern healthcare services and be more aware of disease prevention, contributing to easing their difficulties and improving the quality of their lives.
The program also provided an opportunity for the hospital’s medical staff to strengthen their close ties with the people. Their social program in collaboration with the local police force has contributed to beautifying the image of the public security officer who is loyal, humane and devoted to serving the people.
