
Minister Luong Tam Quang works with Thanh Hoa Provincial Police Department
Member of the Politburo, Secretary of the Public Security Central Party Committee and Minister of Public Security General Luong Tam Quang had a working session with the Thanh Hoa Provincial Police Department on the afternoon of March 27 in Hanoi.

Attending the session were Member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Doan Anh and Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Thanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Hoai Anh.
In the first quarter of 2026, under the leadership and direction of the Public Security Central Party Committee, the Ministry of Public Security and the local authorities, the Thanh Hoa Police Force proactively renewed its mindset so as to proactively advise the higher-level authorities on “approaches to enable development,” while implementing all aspects of its professional work in a synchronous and decisive manner in, contributing to firmly maintaining security and order and effectively supporting local socio-economic development.
Speaking at the session, Secretary Nguyen Doan Anh highly appreciated the important contribution of the Thanh Hoa Police Force to the local development in recent times, affirming that the province will continue to provide attention and favorable conditions for the force to successfully fulfill its assigned tasks.
On behalf of the Public Security Central Party Committee and the Ministry of Public Security, Minister Luong Tam Quang hailed the outstanding achievements of the Thanh Hoa Police Force.
Regarding its key tasks in the coming period, the Minister requested the Thanh Hoa Provincial Police Department to continue strongly innovating its thinking and working methods, and take the lead in implementing the Resolution of the 14th National Party Congress and the Resolution of the 8th Congress of the Public Security Central Party Committee by attaining concrete and measurable outcomes.
He also stressed the need to reach all assigned security and order targets, suggesting that it should prioritize the sustainable reduction to the rate of criminal cases and the building of drug-free communes and wards, contributing to social stability at the grassroots level.
Additionally, the Minister emphasized the importance of building and developing a strong contingent of communal- and ward-level police officers capable of meeting the requirements for its tasks in the new situation.
