
Minister Luong Tam Quang offers incense to heroic martyrs in Gia Lai
On the occasion of the 79th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs’ Day (July 27, 1947 – July 27, 2026), Member of the Politburo and Minister of Public Security General Luong Tam Quang led a delegation to offer flowers and incense in tribute to heroic martyrs, as well as to visit and present gifts to wounded and sick soldiers, policy beneficiary families, and prominent national contributors in Gia Lai province, on the morning of July 19, 2026.

As part of this meaningful series of activities, Minister Luong Tam Quang and the working delegation visited and paid tribute at the Quy Nhon Martyrs’ Cemetery.
In a solemn and respectful atmosphere, the delegates respectfully commemorated the immense contributions of the great President Ho Chi Minh and the heroic martyrs who had fought and sacrificed bravely for the cause of national liberation, reunification, and Fatherland defense.
Before the sacred spirits of the martyrs, Minister Luong Tam Quang and the delegation offered flowers and lit incense sticks at each grave, expressing profound gratitude to the nation’s outstanding sons and daughters who had devoted their youth and sacrificed their lives for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland.
After that, Minister Luong Tam Quang and the delegation visited, presented gifts to, and encouraged wounded and sick soldiers receiving treatment and nursing care at the Gia Lai Provincial Nursing Center for National Contributors.
At the gathering, Minister Luong Tam Quang expressed infinite gratitude to the previous revolutionary generations for their immense sacrifices and contributions. He expressed pride and admiration for the courage and resilience of the wounded and sick soldiers in overcoming their injuries, while sharing deep sympathy for the pain they continue to bear due to wartime wounds.
The Minister noted that over the years, the Party and State have paid special attention to promulgating and implementing various preferential policies to ensure that national contributors and their relatives receive comprehensive physical and mental care.
On this occasion, Minister Luong Tam Quang also visited and encouraged exemplary policy beneficiary families in Quy Nhon ward.
Minister Luong Tam Quang emphasized that the immense contributions and sacrifices of previous generations will forever remain a source of pride and a brilliant golden page in the history of the People's Public Security Forces and the entire nation. Today’s generation of Public Security officers and soldiers will always engrave in their hearts and remain eternally grateful to the heroic martyrs, wounded and sick soldiers, and national contributors.
