Minister Luong Tam Quang meets with Economic Security Force

Over the past 73 years, experiencing various periods of initial force building, fighting against foreign enemies and development, the Economic Security Force has seen a remarkable development, continuously growing stronger in all aspects, and attained a number of outstanding achievements, especially in performing its key function as strategic economic security advisor.

Over the past time, the force has successfully investigated thousands of economic wrongdoing cases, prevented and neutralized plots and subversive activities against the economy conducted by hostile forces, and dismantled numerous major economic crime rings in various sectors of production and business.

From the practices, the force has drawn valuable lessons, which helps it effectively prevent and address emerging challenges, as well as excellently advise Party and State leaders to promptly issue important directives and policies in response to newly arising situations.

Over the past 73 years, the Economic Security Force has achieved numerous accomplishments in force building and fighting economic crimes and earned much trust of the people in safeguarding national security and maintaining social order. The force’s achievements have contributed largely to the proud revolutionary tradition of the People’s Public Security Forces.

On behalf of the Public Security Central Party Committee, Minister Luong Tam Quang acknowledged and strongly applauded the achievements and contributions made by the Economic Security Force during the national history.

Minister Luong Tam Quang affirmed that the Economic Security Force has played a core role in safeguarding economic security, providing strategic advice and contributing to the country’s process of making policies on economic development and international economic integration. 

According to him, the force has helped remove bottlenecks and obstacles in the country’s economic activities, and promote economic development in line with the Party’s and State’s orientations.

The Minister emphasized that the country as entered a new development period, so the Economic Security Force faces numerous challenges as well as new responsibilities. He instructed the force to focus on its main mission of protecting economic security while continuously renewing its thinking and working methods.

As the force is entrusted with increasingly demanding tasks and responsibilities, Minister Luong Tam Quang hopes, former and current leaders of the Economic Security Force will paying due attention to, support and encourage their subordinates so that the force can successfully fulfill its honorable responsibilities entrusted by the Party, the State and the people in the coming time.
