
Deputy Minister Pham The Tung works with Security Guard Command
Member of the Party Central Committee and Deputy Minister of Public Security Senior Lieutenant General Pham The Tung had a working session with the Security Guard Command, on the afternoon of April 21 in Hanoi, to review its task performance.

At the meeting, leaders of the Security Guard Command reported on the overall results across all aspects of work.
Accordingly, the Command proactively grasped the situation and synchronously deployed professional measures to ensure absolute security and safety for key target projects, major political events, senior Party and State leaders and visiting foreign delegations.
The Command also focused on building a regular, elite and modern force capable of meeting task requirements in the new context.
Addressing the working session, Deputy Minister Pham The Tung acknowledged and commended the force for its achievements, emphasizing that, amid increasingly complex security developments in the region and the world, the task of ensuring security and safety for key targets and major political events is becoming more demanding.
He stressed that the Security Guard Force must remain proactive, vigilant and fully prepared in all circumstances, avoiding any strategic surprise.
The Deputy Minister requested the Command to strictly implementing directives of the Public Security Central Party Committee and the leadership of the Ministry of Public Security, enhance the quality of situation analysis and forecasting, and develop plans to safeguard important events and projects based on the principle of ensuring security “from early on, from afar and from the grassroots.”
He suggested actively applying science and technology and stepping up digital transformation in security guarding.
The working session aimed to further strengthen leadership over the Security Guard Force, contributing to ensuring absolute security and safety for major political events of the country in the coming period.
