Deputy Minister Pham The Tung commends Thanh Hoa Provincial Police Department

Over the past time, the Thanh Hoa Provincial Police Department has effectively focused on implementing solutions to guarantee security and order in extraterritorial border areas. Notably, the Department has proactively advised the Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee to sign a cooperation agreement with their Lao counterparts for the 2026–2030 period, providing 274 billion VND in aid to Houaphanh Province, Laos. 

The Department has also deployed solutions to support the Vietnamese community in Laos; developed the dual-use 'Houaphanh – Thanh Hoa Friendship Cultural House' project; and enacted standard operating procedures for handling complex security and order situations arising along the border between Thanh Hoa Province and Houaphanh Province, Laos. 

The results of these advisory and deployment efforts by the Thanh Hoa Provincial Police have been recognized and highly valued by local Party committees and authorities, carrying meaningful and practical values in reinforcing the special friendship between Vietnam and Laos.

These achievements have demonstrated the high sense of responsibility, acumen and creativity of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Police in executing the directives of the Public Security Central Party Committee and the leadership of the Ministry of Public Security to safeguard national interests and national security against the negative impacts of subjects operating in Lao territory under the new circumstances. 

With their efforts, the Thanh Hoa Provincial Police have also taken the lead in implementing the motto of 'proactive security' – protecting national security and interests early on, from afar, and from beyond national borders.

On behalf of the Public Security Central Party Committee and the leadership of the Ministry of Public Security, Deputy Minister Pham The Tung highly recognized the local police’s achievements. 

He also requested that the Thanh Hoa Provincial Police continue to drastically deploy their set plans and professional measures to ensure public order and security, while simultaneously considering and incorporating innovative and novel approaches to achieve even higher operational efficiency in the coming time. 

He wished the local police more outstanding victories and feats in implementing their regular duties and combat operations.
