Cao Bang police promptly assist injured foreign tourist

On May 25, officers of the Ly Bon Communal Police Station in coordination with local health workers promptly gave first aid and then transported a foreign tourist injured in a traffic accident to the Bao Lam Medical Center.

At around 12:00 p.m. on May 25, when Mr. Shalev Belams, an Israeli national, was riding a motorcycle on Highway 34 through Ly Bon commune, he fell off due to his unfamiliarity with the local road, suffering a large laceration to his leg. 

Immediately after receiving a report on the accident, the Ly Bon Communal Police Station promptly dispatched officers to the scene and coordinated with communal medical staff to provide first aid to the victim.

Afterwards, the communal police force and the communal health workers transported Mr. Belams to Bao Lam Medical Center for further treatment and suturing of the wound.

Thanks to their efforts, the victim is now in a stable physical and metal health condition.

The timely assistance provided to the injured tourist demonstrated the strong sense of responsibility and dedication of the grassroots-level police officers to people, including foreign tourists, contributing to spreading the positive image of the public security officer who is always close to the people and devoted to serving the people. The local police’s gesture has also left a good impression on international visitors to the locality.
