Deputy Minister Tran Quoc To concludes inspection at Nghe An Provincial Police Department

Member of the Party Central Committee and Deputy Minister of Public Security Senior Lieutenant General Tran Quoc To, leading a delegation of the Ministry of Public Security, held a working session with the Nghe An Provincial Police Department to announce the results of an inspection of the police department’s task implementation in 2025, on the morning of November 25, in Nghe An province.

In 2025, under the close direction of the Public Security Central Party Committee and the leadership of the Ministry of Public Security, the Standing Board of the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee and the Nghe An Provincial People’s Committee, as well as the coordination of under-ministerial departments, the Nghe An Provincial Police Department took synchronous and decisive measures to ensure security and order in the province, promote the force building, and achieved good results of their all working fields.

Notably, the local police actively advised Party committees and authorities at all levels to issue multiple strategic documents on the one hand, and proactively prevent and fight crimes and legal violations.

Over the past months of the year, the local police have succeeded in clearing numerous major cases and dismantling several criminal rings.

Addressing the working session, Deputy Minister Tran Quoc To acknowledged, commended and congratulated the Nghe An Provincial Police Force on its achievements in recent times.

Regarding key tasks for the coming time, Deputy Minister Tran Quoc To requested the Nghe An Provincial Police Department to complete its 2025 work plan and achieve all of its set objectives, while ensuring absolute security and safety for the 14th National Party Congress, the 2026 Lunar New Year period as well as other major political events in 2026.

He also reminded the local police to advise Party committees and authorities at all levels on security and order matters, mobilize the engagement of the entire political system for the work of ensuring security and order in the locality, and further strengthen State management of security and order, and resolutely prevent and combat crime.

The Deputy Minister also urged the Nghe An Provincial Police Department to maintain close coordination with provincial agencies while carrying out its assigned tasks, and attach much importance to Party building and force building with the aim of developing the Nghe An Provincial Police Force as a clean, strong, regular, elite and modern force, meeting its task requirements in the new situation.
